Sabrina Carpenter’s latest album, Short n’ Sweet, dropped on Friday, August 23rd, and it’s already making waves. Actress Joey King, 25, couldn’t stop gushing about her friend Carpenter’s new project while attending Tory Burch’s New York Fashion Week show on Monday, September 9th.

When asked which track is her favourite, King admitted, “Honestly, this changes every day. It’s tough because I ask myself this question every single day.” King went on to name a few of her top contenders, saying, “I’m stuck between a few. ‘Bed Chem,’ oh my God, it’s so good.”

But there’s another track fighting for the top spot in King’s heart. “‘Taste’ is just… I wanna dance to that at the club,” King said with a laugh. “I know it might not be a typical club song, but I’m obsessed with it.”

She also highlighted Don’t Smile, calling it “a perfect song.” King joked, “I’m scared to admit it, but I really believe it’s perfect.”

King has always been vocal about supporting her fellow former Disney star. Back in June, she shared with PEOPLE how proud she is of Carpenter’s success. “I finally got to see her perform at Governors Ball after missing so many shows because of scheduling conflicts. I was literally crying after the performance, I was just so proud of her,” King said during the Despicable Me 4 premiere.

“I’m so happy for her, and I can’t stop singing ‘Please Please Please.’ It’s been stuck in my head,” King added, referring to Carpenter’s hit song produced by Taylor Swift’s longtime collaborator, Jack Antonoff.

It’s not just Carpenter’s music that King is obsessed with—she also loves the video for “Please Please Please,” which stars Carpenter’s boyfriend, Barry Keoghan. “It’s so unfair how addictive it is,” King joked. “I watched it like six times at 2 a.m. when I was trying to go to sleep!”

Both stars are reaching new heights in their careers. Carpenter recently opened for Swift on her Eras Tour and saw massive success with her hit Espresso. Meanwhile, King stars in Despicable Me 4 and the Netflix rom-com A Family Affair.Short n’ Sweet is now available to stream on all platforms.
